Particular plans

The people of the Archdiocese have been asked to plan for the implementation of the Jesus Communion Mission vision and the Nine Priorities over the next five years.

This section focuses on the plans that are in place or in development across the range of bodies in the Archdiocese, and is intended to be read in conjunction with information on the Archdiocesan website www.bne.catholic.net.au/lyls where a fuller presentation of plans will be available.

The Archbishop has written to Church bodies in the Archdiocese asking them to take account of the Jesus Communion Mission vision and the nine archdiocesan priorities in their planning, and has recommended the sharing of those plans on the archdiocesan website. These Church bodies have been grouped as follows:

• Parishes and deaneries
• Schools
• Indigenous and ethnic communities
• Renewal movements, youth groups and lay associations
• Archdiocesan councils, commissions and committees
• Vicariates (includes all archdiocesan agencies)
• Religious institutes
• Tertiary institutions
• Aged and health care services
• Catholic services and organisations

The website presents plans in two formats:

1. by organisation: for information about pastoral plans of a particular Church body, look up the body by name. The section below has highlights from this format.

2. by vision and priority: for information that has been submitted on what is being done around the Archdiocese to support the vision and different priorities, look under the vision/priority name.
