Prepares and presents workshops and courses on ecumenism and inter-religious relations for groups within the Archdiocese.

Inter-religious

Provides opportunities for members of the Catholic community to improve their understanding of the purpose and principles of inter-religious dialogue and to interact with members of other faith traditions in order to promote mutual understanding, respect, enrichment and cooperation.

Interchurch Families

Seeks to provide mutual support for interchurch families who face special challenges because of the couple's strong commitment to two churches.

Newsletter

The Commission works with the Ecumenical Affairs Committee of the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane and the Ecumenical Relations Committee of the Uniting Church in Australia (Qld Synod) to produce a newsletter twice each year. It provides information on the latest events and issues in ecumenical and interfaith relations at local, state, national and international level. It is available in pdf format on this website.
