Help for using the Family Prayer Time CDs

The following steps for Windows and Mac users will help you in locating the PowerPoint files we have currently available on the Family Prayer Time CDs.

Windows Users

Step 1: Insert the CD into your computer's CD drive.

Step 2: If the following window appears after a short moment select 'Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer' and click OK (go to step 3). If this window does not appear proceed to step 2b.

Step 2b: If the window from step 2 did not appear you will need to manually open the CD to view the files. Open 'My Computer' from the 'Start' menu. Right-click on the CD drive icon and choose 'Explore' from the menu that appears.

Step 3: A window will now appear providing you access to the PowerPoint files. Double click on the 'PowerPoint_Stories' folder. You should see a list of files to choose from.

Note: If you cannot view PowerPoint files you can download the free Windows PowerPoint viewer from Microsoft.

Mac OS X Users

Step 1: Insert the CD into you computer's CD drive.

Step 2: On your Desktop two CD icons will appear 'Audio CD' and 'Family_PrayerC' (pictured below).

Step 3: Double click on the 'Family_PrayerC' icon to view the files. (Double clicking the 'Audio CD' icon will play the audio.)

Step 4: A window will now appear providing you access to the PowerPoint files. Double click on the 'PowerPoint_Stories' folder. You should see a list of files to choose from.

Note: If you cannot view PowerPoint files you can download the free Macintosh PowerPoint viewer from Microsoft.
