Christmas Masses at the Cathedral of St Stephen

Christmas is a significant period in the Christian liturgical year. Church services focus on the birth of our saviour, Jesus Christ and Cathedral attendances are traditionally higher at this time.


Christmas Services at St Stephen’s Cathedral will be:

6pm                     Christmas Eve                    Vigil Mass with 
                            24th December                  children's focus    

8pm                     Christmas Eve
                            24th December   

12.00am               Christmas Day                      Midnight Mass
                             25th December

8.00am                 Christmas Day  
                             25th December  

10.00am               Christmas Day    
                             25th December    

12.00pm               Christmas Day    
                             25th December

Archbishop Bathersby will preside at the 12.00am (Midnight Mass) and 8.00am Masses on Christmas Day.
